Sydney Comedy Festival

📍Enmore Theatre / Factory Theatre

📅 May 2023

Working with the Sydney Comedy Festival, I was able to work with a comedian, alongisde 10 other scientists from all over Sydney to add some humour into our research! From being sent pictures of a human finger bone, to discussions on Indiana Jones, this was a hilarious opportunity to connect with audiences in an engaging (and hopefully funny) way!

Humour and storytelling are some of the best ways to connect with audiences, no matter what your content is. For science, this was a brilliant way to make our experiments, fieldwork, research and results, accessible, relevant, and memorable!

These shows were organised by David Crisante from the Sydney Comedy School, our resident comedian was Seaton Kay-Smith.
