Student Leadership Forum
Where can a Bachelor of Science take you? What about studying archaeology? I was invited to give a keynote address to over 100 Year 12 students about my journey at Macquarie University, and show that life is what you make it, how we can figure out what we love to do, and how students can have the adventure of a lifetime at university.
From diving with sharks, to learning Egyptian heiroglyphs, going on archaeological digs, and calculating the running speed of a dinosaur - this talk aimed to showcase the many future opportunities out there for these students.
Each year, schools from around NSW nominate some of their Year 11 leaders to be part of the Macquarie University Leadership program. Part of this program gets students onto campus to learn all about future pathways into university, and what a degree at MQ might look like.
