Palaeontology @ Astronomy Open Night

📅 21st September 2024

📍 Macquarie University

Macquarie University’s Astronomy Open NIght is one of our largest events of the year, bringing together professionals and enthusiasts for all things stars, space, and science!

I was invited to present my family-friendly comedy talk, learning all about what to do if you find a fossil, how space and dinosaurs are connected (hint: meteroites!), and the weird and wonderful things people send me photos of as a palaeontoligst.

I finished up the night at the Scientist Spotlight Sessions - answering any dinosaur questions for atendees, and even providing an opportunity to hold a real Megalodon (shark) tooth, and a piece of dinosaur poo (no, it doesn’t smell anymore).

*The Dr part was a typo!
