Grounded Research

To promote my Found a Fossil project to farmers and others in working on the land who may find heritage material, I had a chat to the team at Outback Magazine to encourage people to participate in the research!

With argicultural land making up more than 50% of the Australian mainland, those working in this industy are a hugely important part of the community to reach out to about heritage discoveries. Many an Aboriginal sacred site, or even dinosaur skeletons have been found by farmers - yet, their opinions are so often left out of heritage conversations.

My research aimed to hear the perspectives of this part of the community so we can co-design heritage protections and communications into the future.
