Working with the Mid Coast 2 Tops Landcare group, local archaeologists and Aboriginal Community members, we’ll be giving a series of talks to de-mystify the processes surrounding finding Aboriginal cultural heritage objects or sites on private property, and what this means for land holders. My talk will centre of mythbusting the thought that finding this material on your land may result in land restrictions or reclaimation (not true!), and go through some of the results from the Found a Fossil survey.
